Newborn charity drive scheduled in Burbank

A charity drive for the nonprofit Newborns in Need will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Mama-San Boutique, a maternity resale shop located at 1807 W. Verdugo Ave., Burbank.

Newborns in Need provides help for newborns and their families who are without the essentials to meet their most basic needs.

Preferred donations include diapers, pacifiers, bottles, hooded bath towels, infant-appropriate books and baby toiletries such as diaper rash cream as well as baby wash and shampoo, according to event organizers.

Playdate Connection, a San Fernando Valley-based organization that hosts events to support “mompreneurs” and working parents, is sponsoring the event.
