Leader Pet of the Day: Baby

Get to know the lovely lady we call Baby. This super pretty, black brindle-and-white boxer/pit bull terrier mix is the most darling girl.

She’s about 8 years old, friendly, playful and warm-hearted. Plus, Baby is the perfect-sized pooch — not too big but not too small! She will look dazzling by your side hiking the SoCal canyons.

The Burbank Animal Shelter is at 1150 N. Victory Place. Call (818) 238-3340 for more information. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.

Adoption fees are: dogs, $104; cats, $78; bunnies, $30. Prices include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and microchip.
