Salvation Army to host luncheon in Burbank

On Thursday, the Burbank Corps of the Salvation Army will host its Red Kettle Kick-Off luncheon, a fundraiser that supports its programs and services and marks the start of its annual holiday donation collection season.

The luncheon will begin at noon at the Salvation Army Community Center, 300 E. Angeleno Ave. Tickets are $25.

In Burbank, the money collected at the luncheon and throughout the holiday season goes to support local programs that include an emergency food bank, after-school homework programs and summer camps.
