Nine-year-old boy, teenage girl hospitalized after struck by car
A boy and a teenage girl were hospitalized Monday afternoon after being struck by a car in Burbank, police said.
Shortly before 4 p.m., the 16-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy were walking eastbound on Pacific Avenue when they were struck by a car traveling northbound on Niagara Street, said Burbank Police Lt. Jay Hawver.
Both were reportedly transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. Further details were not immediately available.
