Police are investigating a group fight that took place Monday night in a Burbank parking structure and involved knives, a baseball bat and tire irons, police said.

Just before 8:30 p.m., officers heard commotion coming from the courthouse parking structure, located at 301 E. Angeleno Ave., and drove up to the third level, where roughly 20 men had gathered, according to Burbank Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco.

When they saw police, they fled, dropping objects off the sides of the structure, onto the streets below. In and around the scene, police recovered the weapons, along with heroin, and spotted trails of blood, Losacco said.

Police detained several men with minor to moderate injuries, but they declined medical care and refused to answer questions about how they were injured.

A 22-year-old Burbank man, identified as Patrick Ebrahimi, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a billy club. He was released after posting $20,000 bail and is due in court later this month.

Anyone with information on the fight is asked to call Burbank police at (818) 238-3210.
