Street closures scheduled in Burbank for President Obama appearance on ‘Ellen’

Burbank police warned drivers of several street closures scheduled for Thursday afternoon as President Barack Obama rolls through the city for a taping of Ellen Degeneres’ talk show.

  • From 2:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m, Olive Avenue and Barham Boulevard will be closed in both directions from Riverside Drive to Forest Lawn Drive.
  • From 3:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., and later from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., intersections will be closed in both directions on Hollywood Way from San Fernando Boulevard to Olive Avenue.

Obama’s “Ellen” interview is scheduled to air Friday.
