Firefighters take out blaze at Burbank home

Approximately $300,000 in damage was done to a Burbank home after a house fire erupted Thursday evening.

Firefighters received the call of a fire in the 3600 block of Victory Boulevard around 4:50 p.m. It took firefighters 15 minutes to knockout the blaze, Battalion Chief Kenet Robertson said.

No injuries were reported.

Robertson said the fire had started in the home’s garage before spreading to the attic. The cause is still under investigation.

He said the fire caused $250,000 in damage to the structure with another $50,000 to the home’s contents.

Victory Boulevard was briefly closed with Burbank police providing traffic control.
