Three people were arrested in the Ramada Inn parking lot after officers found an unregistered rifle, heroin, methamphetamine, smoking pipes and a used syringe in their truck, police said.

Just after 11 p.m. Tuesday, an officer patrolling the parking lot saw a man discard a beer bottle as the officer approached, said Burbank Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco.

The man, who reportedly lied to the officer about his identity, was later identified as 22-year-old Burbank resident Brandon Beverly. Police discovered he had outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Two others, identified as Jennifer Bryan, 18, and Dylan Zamora, 22, were also in the car.

Bryan was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, heroin and a smoking device, while Zamora was arrested on suspicion for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, as well as possessing heroin, methamphetamine and a smoking device.

Meanwhile, Beverly was booked for providing false information to a police officer and possessing heroin, methamphetamine and a smoking device.
