With no disrespect to Mr. Eddie Kelly, I was also a dancer on American Bandstand from 1956 to 1958 during my freshman, sophomore and junior years at West Philadelphia Catholic High School. It was a great and glorious time in my life and I loved every day I danced on that show.

I am pleased that Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank has chosen to honor him by putting his head shot on their wall. However, he is not a lone survivor of that then-WFIL-TV Philadelphia-based show in the ’50s.

I live in Burbank and have for more than 35 years. I moved to California in 1963 after serving in the U.S. Air Force. I worked hard and earned my living as an actor! I still work as an actor and have produced and written. It all started with those years dancing on American Bandstand. I learned a lot!
