More than 250 children with autism and their families came out to Bob Hope Airport in Burbank on Saturday to take part in an event designed to get them comfortable with airports and planes. The “Blue Horizons for Autism” travel rehearsal was put on by JetBlue Airways and Autism Speaks and lets families go through the air-travel process, including navigating terminals, going through security and boarding an airliner.
