Sports Roundup: Tirityan leads Burbank girls’ basketball past Muir


Burbank 57, Muir 31: It was another stellar effort from junior guard Osanna Tirityan, who recorded a triple-double in Pacific League play at home Friday.

Tirityan finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for Burbank (8-11, 3-2 in league), which received eight points and eight rebounds from Sofia Aslanyan and six points and nine rebounds from Jayla Flowers.


Burbank 2, Muir 0: The Bulldogs snapped a three-match losing streak and a six-match winless streak with a home victory on Friday afternoon.

Burbank improved to 3-4-3 and 2-3-1 in league.


Muir 56, Burbank 45: Burbank suffered a Pacific League home defeat Friday. The Bulldogs dipped to 11-7, 1-4 in league.

Crescenta Valley 60, Burroughs 55: Host Burroughs dropped a Pacific League contest Friday. The Indians dropped to 11-6, 2-3 in league.

St. Monica Academy 59, International School of Los Angeles 44: The Lions dropped to 2-5 and 2-3 in International League play after a home loss on Friday afternoon.
