BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Providence 56, de Toledo 47: David Grigoryan scored 18 points to lead the Pioneers to an Independence League victory Tuesday evening on the road.

Bryce Whittaker added 14 points, including four three-pointers, and Kirk Helling chipped in with 10 for Providence (11-8, 3-0 in league).

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Bellarmine-Jefferson 55, Mary Star of the Sea 55-26: The Guards improved to 3-0 in the Santa Fe League with the victory Tuesday evening on the road.

Bell-Jeff (14-3), is the top-ranked team in CIF Southern Section Division IV-A.

Dalila Rincan had 18 points, Paige Losoya had 12 Claire Borot had 10 and Cosette Balmy had eight.

Archer 50, Providence 42: The defending Liberty League champion Pioneers fell Tuesday on the road.

Giselle Camonayan had 10 points and five steals, Ariel Gordillo added nine points and Christy Hoffman had four points and 10 rebounds for Providence (9-9, 2-1).

Muir 1, Burbank 0: The Bulldogs slipped to 0-9-2, 0-7 in the Pacific League with the loss Tuesday afternoon on the road.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Burbank 10, Muir 0: The Bulldogs rolled to a Pacific League win Tuesday afternoon at home.

Burbank is 2-8-1, 2-4-1 in league.
