GIRLS’ TENNIS

Burbank 16, Burroughs 2: The Bulldogs completed a season sweep of the Indians with the Pacific League win Thursday afternoon on the road.

Burbank (7-3 overall and in league) received singles sweeps from Alice Avedikian, 6-4, 6-1, 6-1, and Johana Faraj, 6-4, 6-2, 6-1. In doubles, the Bulldogs got sweeps from Daisy Kim and Krystal Hirahara, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2, and Elza Vardanyan and Bella La Manna, 6-1, 6-4, 7-5.

For Burroughs (5-5 in league), it received a win in doubles from Savannah Dorris and Leah Prystupa, 7-5, and from Sandy LeMay in singles, 6-4.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Burbank d. Hoover, 25-10, 25-12, 25-11: The Bulldogs rolled to a Pacific League victory Thursday afternoon on the road.

Burbank is 12-3, 8-3 in league.

St. Mary’s Academy d. Bellarmine-Jefferson, 25-15, 17-25, 22-25, 25-10, 15-13: The Guards battled but fell Thursday in a Santa Fe League match at home.

Bell-Jeff is 1-10, 0-8 in league.
