Burroughs 4, Muir 0: The Indians completed a sweep against the Mustangs with a win Friday afternoon at home.

Burroughs (12-8, 7-1 in league) is tied for second place in league with Arcadia (7-1 in league).

Pitcher Nicco Chuidian picked up the win for the Indians, going six innings, giving up one hit, walking one and striking out two.

Justin Palafox was two for four with two runs scored and Riley Hooper drove in two runs for the Indians.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Crescenta Valley d. Burbank, 25-20, 25-22, 24-26, 25-14: Visiting Burbank dropped a Pacific League road match Friday. The Bulldogs are 17-10, 4-3 in league.
