Santa Monica 54, Providence 45: Providence lost in nonleague action on Saturday afternoon on the road.
With the defeat, the Pioneers, who have already clinched a share of the Liberty League title, saw their record fall to 16-9.
Jasmine Ramirez had 12 points and seven rebounds, Christy Hoffman added eight points and 10 boards and Rachel Camonayan shared the team-high for scoring with Ramirez as she also tallied 12 points.
The Pioneers owned a 13-4 lead after the first quarter, but the second quarter saw Santa Monica turn it around, as it won the stanza, 16-11, and outscored Providence, 50-32, over the final three quarters.
