Man’s body found at scene of Sun Valley fire
A man’s body was discovered early Thursday morning as firefighters cleaned up a small vegetation fire south of the 210 Freeway in Sun Valley.
The fire was reported on La Tuna Canyon Road around 2:50 a.m., said Sgt. Jim Reid of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Station.
“When they were extinguishing the fire, they discovered a body,” Reid said.
He said homicide detectives were at the scene with L.A. Fire Department arson investigators.
