Transit officials are preparing for the big closure event with sneak previews the next two weekends. First up: A closure that begins tonight at 11 p.m. on the southbound 405 Freeway between the Getty and the 101 Freeway. L.A. Times

After a car hit a fire hydrant in North Hollywood Friday night, three people escaped with injuries. One of them was transported to a hospital in serious condition, reports CBS.

Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is often described as sinful, but a North Hollywood adult video production company took it to the next level, creating titles that weaved popular ice cream names with body parts. Ben & Jerry’s won a court order blocking the titles from being sold on Thursday, according to Huffington Post.

A girl visiting from Boston allegedly ended up drunk, on a street in North Hollywood this week. A resident took her in and tried to help her find her way back to her friends, but she didn’t remember any phone numbers. After posting on the website Reddit and attracting hundreds of comments, the NoHo resident eventually drove the girl around until she could find a building she recognized. Lesson of the story: Memorize a few important phone numbers. It’s also comforting to know that people in my neighborhood like to help strangers. LAist

Aman jumped a fence in Miley Cyrus’ Studio City home early Saturday morning, reports KTLA. He allegedly was armed with a pair of scissors and lit candles before police arrived. Creepy.
