Ramp, lane closures planned for I-5 in Burbank
Another round of ramp and lane closures will hit the 5 Freeway corridor in Burbank starting Friday as crews continue work on a massive carpool lane project, officials announced.
From Friday through Nov. 25, the following ramp closures will be in effect, according to the California Department of Transportation:
Northbound I-5
Eastbound and Westbound Olive Avenue/Verdugo Avenue off-ramps: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Eastbound and Westbound Olive Avenue/Verdugo Avenue on-ramps: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Southbound I-5
Eastbound and Westbound Alameda Avenue off- and on-ramps: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 12 p.m. on Nov. 18) and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Northbound I-5
From Colorado Boulevard to Ventura (134) Freeway: Up to two lanes – 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 10 a.m. on Nov. 18)
Three lanes – 12 to 6 a.m. (Until 7 a.m. on Nov. 18)
Four Lanes -- 1 to 6 a.m.
Northbound I-5
From 134 Freeway to Burbank Boulevard: Up to two lanes – 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 10 a.m. on Nov. 18) Three lanes -- 1 to 5 a.m.
Southbound I-5
From Burbank Boulevard to 134 Freeway: Up to two lanes – 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Until 8 a.m. on Nov. 18) Three lanes – 1 to 6 a.m.
[Note: There will be no closures from the night of Nov. 21 until the night of Nov. 25 due to the holiday.]
