Volunteers sought to count the homeless

Burbank is looking for volunteers to canvass the city and count the number of homeless people for the 2013 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, organized by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority.

Volunteers should go to the community room in the Burbank Community Services Building – 150 N. Third St. – at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Training will begin at 8 p.m., and the whole event is expected to last four hours.
