Pet of the week: Morton

Morton is a mostly white pit bull terrier and Labrador retriever mix. This guy is a sweetie, always giving kisses and showing affection. An active 2-year-old, Morton is full of energy and maintains a playful quality, so he needs a yard and a daily exercise schedule. Additional behavioral training will be a bonus for Morton. He has a beautiful coat that is marked with polka dots, which may be an indication of some Dalmatian DNA. He would be better in a home with older kids. If there are any other dogs in the household, please bring them to the Burbank Animal Shelter to meet Morton. His number is ID#A038045.

The shelter is at 1150 N. Victory Place , Burbank, phone (818) 238-3340. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Closed major holidays. To view Morton or to inquire about other available pets, visit Adoption fees are dogs $104; cats $78; Bunnies: $30 (prices include spay or neuter, vaccinations and microchip.)
