Firefighters test steamer pump

Burbank Fire engineers Terry Mencuri and Kevin Deagon ride a 1915 Christie Front Drive Tractor pulling a 1906 Christie Steam Pumper onto Thornton Avenue in Burbank at Burbank Fire Station 13. The trucks, acquired from Warner Bros. and originally used by the Los Angeles Fire Department, were restored by firemen at the station interested in preserving the department's history. The mechanical history is now being passed on to the newer fireman.
