Walmart statement rude, bigoted

Concerning the letter to the editor on Sept. 26 about the Walmart Store in Burbank. I take offense to this statement by the writer: “The type of people the store attracts, and the crime, would be bad for the rest of the businesses in that area.”

I would like to know what type of people this person is referring to. I think the statement was rude and bigoted. I for one hope Walmart comes to Burbank because it will boost the economy and provide local employment.
