Christmas isn’t a time for negativity

Nearing Christmas, with a tragedy lingering over the country, the last thing I expected to find in the local paper was a letter to the editor from Steve Urbanovich, bashing immigrants (“Where is the union on day laborers,” Dec. 19). It’s a time of community, of finding agreement and values we all share, not tearing down and attacking others. How can anyone be so bitter?

I would suggest he enjoy the company of his family while he can, and think about all the wonderful things in the world. It’s no surprise this man supports Dr. Gordon on the Burbank City Council. With the municipal elections coming, I suggest we all look at who supports who, and the reasons behind their selection.
