Man arrested at Burbank airport for alleged attempt to transport heroin
A 23-year-old Norwalk man was arrested Thursday after allegedly attempting to sneak heroin through security at Bob Hope Airport, police said.
Luis Flores was reportedly caught with 4 pounds of suspected “black tar heroin” in his luggage while on his way to catch a departing flight out of the Burbank airport just before 6 a.m., said Burbank Police Lt. Matthew Ferguson.
Flores was arrested on suspicion of transportation of heroin for sale and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
