A 34-year-old Glendale man was arrested early Friday morning after police reportedly observed him peeping through a window at the Extended Stay Inn in Burbank, police said.

Police began surveillance of the man, identified as Andrew Skinner, last month after witnesses reported the license plate of a possible prowler trying to climb onto a balcony in the 4100 block of Warner Boulevard, said Burbank Police Lt. John Dilibert.

At 11:40 p.m. on Thursday, police observed Skinner, who was driving a vehicle with plates that matched the witnesses’ reports, talking on the phone in the parking lot of the hotel, located at 2021 W. Olive Ave., Dilibert said.

Police reportedly observed him peer into a window twice, for about 15 seconds each time.

Skinner was arrested on suspicion of peeping into a window.
