A 62-year-old transient was arrested Thursday after allegedly exposing and rubbing his genitals in front of a woman at George Izay Park in Burbank, police said.

Police responded to the park – located at 1111 West Olive Ave. – just before noon on Thursday regarding a complaint of a woman screaming there the previous night, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

A 51-year-old transient woman admitted that she had been screaming because a man – identified by police as Dwight Lindbloom – allegedly dropped his pants, rubbed his genitals and made sexual comments to her the night before, Ryburn said.

Afraid of the man, the woman reportedly screamed and ran away, Ryburn said.

According to the victim, it wasn’t the first time such an incident had occurred.

She reportedly told police that Lindbloom has allegedly exposed himself several times in the past while at the park, Ryburn said.

Lindbloom was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.
