A 45-year-old man was arrested Saturday after he was allegedly caught looking at suspected child pornography at the Burbank Central Library, police said.

Police responded to the library, located at 110 N. Glenoaks Blvd., just before 5 p.m. regarding reports of a man — identified by police as Douglas Anderson — looking at inappropriate photographs, said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz.

Anderson reportedly gave police permission to inspect his external hard drive, which he had connected to a computer, where officers discovered what appeared to be child pornography, Ruiz said.

Anderson was arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography, as well as on an outstanding warrant, and was held in lieu of $52,500 bail. He is due in court this week.

No victims have been identified and the investigation remains ongoing, Ruiz said.
