A new 20-unit, eco-friendly affordable housing project was unveiled on Thursday, wrapping up two years of construction and replacing a cluster of severely blighted buildings in “horrific” condition, officials said. The $9.7-million Sycamore at Catalina development, located at 2223 Catalina Ave. in Burbank, features solar panels, central air conditioning and a washer and dryer in each unit.
