Summer reading launches at Burbank libraries

The Burbank Library system kicked off its summer reading club performers on Tuesday with Jumbo Shrimp Circus at the Buena Vista Library, featuring one-man show with juggling, a unicycle and lots of fun activities for kids.

Free weekly performances continue at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at Buena Vista Library, 10 a.m. Wednesdays at the Northwest Branch Library and 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the Burbank Central Library through July 24.

Upcoming performers include musician Robbo, June 24-26, Pullin’ Strings Marionette Show, July 1-3, Barnyard Extravaganza with live animals, July 8-10, Music for the very young with Mark Beckwith, July 15-17 and a final party with Fantastic Patrick, July 22-24.
