A man and woman who investigators say were tied to a string of 15 burglaries in Burbank in the last three weeks were arrested this week.

Nicholas Caves, 25, and Tabitha Gallagher, 24, both transients, were arrested on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, after investigators recovered evidence allegedly connecting them to the rash of residential and garage burglaries in which power tools, computers and sound equipment were stolen, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

A large amount of property was reportedly recovered from several locations in the city after their arrests, with investigators having identified 15 victims, Ryburn said.

Caves, who pleaded not guilty Wednesday to the residential burglary charges, is being held without bail, Ryburn said.

Gallagher was arrested on suspicion of residential burglary and possession of stolen property and is due in court Thursday, he added.
