Police arrest five people during DUI saturation patrols in Burbank

Five people were arrested on suspicion of DUI in Burbank at various locations during a saturation patrol Friday night and early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers patrolled main roads, including Hollywood Way, Buena Vista and Magnolia Boulevard, from 7 p.m. Friday to 4:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Burbank Police Lt. John Dilibert.

“In addition to the saturation patrol involving DUIs, we also issued citations for drivers’ licenses and traffic violations. It’s a combination of not only DUI patrol but educating people on how to drive,” Dilibert said.
