Police seek man who allegedly masturbated in front of two students

Police are searching for a man who was reportedly masturbating in his car in front of two John Burroughs High School students on Wednesday afternoon.

At 4:15 p.m., the girls — one 14 years old and the other 15 — were walking northbound on Keystone Street by the high school when they noticed a man in a gold-colored Honda who was nude from the waist down, masturbating, with the passenger-side door open, said Burbank Police Officer Cindy Guillen.

The man, who was reportedly parked on the east side of Keystone, was described as Hispanic, heavy-set, with short dark hair and sideburns, Guillen said. He was reportedly wearing a dark shirt and sunglasses.

The students reported the incident roughly an hour later, but detectives were unable to locate the vehicle, Guillen said.
