Secret Art Show slated for tonight in Burbank

Share

Tonight’s the chance to nab some artwork by “SpongeBob SquarePants” creator Stephen Hillenburg, “Criminal Minds” star Joe Mantegna or the neighbor girl down the street, among other “secret” artists.

It’s the third annual Burbank Arts For All Foundation Secret Art Show, a one-night-only art show in which local students, community members, teachers, celebrities and artists contribute post-card-sized works of art that are offered at $40 each to benefit arts programs in Burbank.

There are more than 700 pieces, but each one’s artist — be it television talk-show host Conan O’Brien or Burbank High School student Oscar Ochoa — will remain a secret until after the item is sold.

The event, to be held at ATB Studios, 157 W. Providencia Ave., will kick off with VIP entry at 6:30 p.m. and general admission at 7:30 p.m. It will feature a wine-and-cheese reception with music and “live art experiences.”

Tickets, $50 for VIP access and $10 for general admission, will be available at the door beginning at 6:15 p.m. More information and previews of the artwork are available online at burbankartsforall.org/secret-art-show.
