Roundup: Providence boys’ basketball falls in semifinals of league tourney

Yeshiva 71, Providence 50: The Pioneers couldn’t win the semifinal game of the Liberty League Tournament on Wednesday, falling at home to the No. 2-seeded Panthers.
The No. 4-seeded Pioneers (13-10) won their tournament opener Monday against Pacifica Christian, 53-38.
Providence trailed, 32-18, at the half.
The Pioneers will play in a third-place game Thursday at home.
