Thieves steal prescription drugs from pharmacy
Police are investigating a commercial break-in in which several bottles of prescription drugs were stolen from a Burbank pharmacy on Friday.
Police responded to an alarm at 5:40 a.m. in the 200 block of South Buena Vista Street, where thieves had reportedly broken into a cardiology office, punched a large hole in the wall and crawled through to get to Burbank Compounding Pharmacy, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.
The burglars made off with 10 bottles of pain medication from the pharmacy, Ryburn said.
