Pedestrian killed in North Hollywood Friday night is identified

A 77-year-old pedestrian struck and killed by a motorist Friday night in North Hollywood has been identified, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The female victim was identified as Ki Mun, a North Hollywood resident, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

The incident occurred at about 6 p.m. at Kittridge Street and Irvine Avenue, officials said. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, according to some media reports.

An investigation is ongoing, police said, but no further details were available.
