Con el apoyo de los ayudantes del alguacil del condado de Los Ángeles, varias personas de diversas organizaciones ayudaron a los veteranos sin hogar a empacar para dejar su campamento y trasladarse al campus de Asuntos de Veteranos del Oeste de Los Ángeles, ubicado detrás de una cerca de su campus de San Vicente Boulevard.

El campamento adyacente al campus histórico de VA se ha convertido en un punto focal para las personas sin hogar en la ciudad, y los candidatos a alcalde hicieron visitas durante el último año.

El secretario de Asuntos de Veteranos, Denis McDonough, quien visitó el campamento en octubre, dijo que el campus albergaría a los aproximadamente 40 veteranos del campamento de Veterans Row en noviembre.
