Tras 12 asaltos del combate celebrado en el Mandalay Bay, el mexicano fue declarado vencedor en las tarjetas de los jueces: 117-111, 119-109 y 118-110.
“Si quieren me pongo los guantes ahora mismo para pelear con él”, dijo ‘Canelo’ sobre un posible choque contra Gennady Golovkin.
