Las Chivas de Guadalajara visitaron al Toronto FC y lo vencieron por 2-1 en el partido de ida de la gran final de la Liga de Campeones de la CONCACAF. Con este marcador, el conjunto rojiblanco se podría dar el lujo de perder 1-0 en el juego de vuelta en Guadalajara pues tiene dos goles de visita. El ganador de la Liga de Campeones obtendrá el derecho para representar a la Concacaf en el Mundial de Clubes de la FIFA en diciembre.
