Colombia celebró su primer triunfo en la Copa del Mundo tras vencer 3-0 a Polonia en el Grupo H. La selección cafetera estaba urgida de un triunfo si quería seguir soñando con la clasificación a la siguiente fase. Aunque ahora ocupa la tercera posición y con tres unidades, los cafeteros confían que el triunfo ante los polacos les dé un impulso para buscar la calificación el próximo jueves contra la espectacular Senegal.
