Mohamed Salah rubricó dos goles de antología y también asistió en las anotaciones de Sadio Mané y Roberto Firmino para llevar el martes a Liverpool a una victoria 5-2 ante su ex club Roma y que dejó al club inglés con un pie en la final de la Liga de Campeones.
La exhibición de Salah fue exquisita frente a una ingenua defensa de la Roma. Con su estadio Anfield hecho una caldera, Liverpool marcó sus cinco goles en un abrumador lapso de 33 minutos entre el final del primer tiempo y el inicio del segundo.
El equipo italiano revirtió un 4-1 adverso ante el Barcelona en los cuartos de final, y los goles de consuelo de Edin Dzeko y Diego Perotti en los últimos diez minutos les dejó con un déficit similar para remontar.
