Burbank residents, businesses invited to join decorating contest

Burbank residents and businesses who have decked out their digs for the holidays are being asked to participate in the 31st annual outdoor holiday decorating contest.

Applicants must submit their name, address and phone number to the Civic Pride Committee by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Judging for the three categories — residential, commercial and youth for entrants under 16 — will take place Thursday evening.

Winners will receive a certificate from the committee and the City Council and will be featured on the city’s website.
