Community: Volunteers collect coats for veterans

The city's Retired Senior Volunteer Program is conducting a coat collection project with donations going to military veterans and their families. Last year, the program collected 650 coats.

Coats should be new or gently worn and clean. They can be brought from Jan. 13 to 17 to one of the collections sites — the lobby of the Joslyn Adult Center, 1301 W. Olive Ave.; the lobby of Burbank City Hall, 275 E. Olive Ave.; the lobby of the Burbank Police/Fire Headquarters, 200 N. 3rd St.; or the first floor of the Community Services Building, 150 N. Third St.
