Engagement: Couple announce July wedding

Former Burbank resident Carrie White of Long Beach and Timothy Scanlan II of Long Beach, have announced their engagement and will be married in July.

Carrie’s parents are Trina White, Dave White and Ray Moriarity.

She graduated from John Burroughs High School and then from Cal State Long Beach where she received a degree in film and a minor in marketing.

She is a publicity and auction manager for Screen Actors Guild Awards and owner of Long Beach Skate Co., a skateboard retail shop.

Her maid of honor is Livnat Refael, her best friend since high school who lives in Burbank. Her matron of honor is Leslie Boehm.

Her bridal party members are Andrew Tripp, Kathy Mino and Erin Holster. Her flower girl is Kendall Joiner, daughter of friends Jocelyn and Chris Joiner.

The groom-elect is the son of Dorothy Scanlan Stevens, Tim Scanlan and Rocky Stevens. He grew up in Oceanside and graduated from Vista High School. He graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in architecture and planning studies. He is employed in production services and owns Long Beach Skate Co.

The best man is Chris Donaldson. His wedding party includes Kelly Scanlan, Matt Jantz, Nick Visiglio and Ryan Kirk. Serving as the couple’s ring bearer is Famous, their dog.
