‘12 Days of Holiday Cheer’ underway

The mayor’s tree-lighting ceremony at City Hall kicked off Burbank’s “12 Days of Holiday Cheer” Wednesday evening, with appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and a taste of Santa’s Downtown Wonderland.

Other highlights in the upcoming days of cheer include Santa’s first stop in Metrolink’s Holiday Toy Express on Saturday as part of the Burbank Fire Department’s Spark of Love Toy Drive, a Reindeer Run — a holiday race for kids ages 4 to 12 on Dec. 5 — and a Snow Day on Dec. 11.
