Man dies of self-inflicted gunshot wound on freeway overpass

A 19-year-old Tarzana man reportedly fatally shot himself Saturday night on a freeway overpass in Burbank, police said.

Around 9:20 p.m., police responded to the Olive Avenue bridge over the Golden State (5) Freeway after receiving reports of shots fired, said Burbank Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco.

The man — identified as Jinoo Han — had suffered what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A handgun was recovered at the scene, Losacco said.
