Burroughs drama team to present haunting ‘Dark of the Moon’

Student performers from the Burroughs High School drama department pose a version of scene one with John the Witch Boy and the witches who want him back. The show will be in the school theater Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Featuring witches of the Smoky Mountains and endearing folk songs, “Dark of the Moon,” which centers on a witch boy who wants to become human after falling in love with a mortal girl, will be presented this weekend by students at Burroughs High School.

The school is located at 1920 W. Clark St., Burbank.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors and $15 for adults.
