L.A. water project underway in Buena Vista Park in Burbank

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power is installing about 2.5 miles of a new water pipeline in Buena Vista Park to transport drinking water to the L.A. utility’s customers, according to the city’s website.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power is currently in the middle of a water infrastructure project, which spans from Buena Vista Park in Burbank to Burbank Boulevard and Biloxi Avenue.

The tunneling project involves the installation of about 2.5 miles of a new water pipeline to transport drinking water to the L.A. utility’s customers, according to the city’s website.

The improvements are scheduled to be completed by November 2021, utility officials said.
