The following incidents were taken from police reports.

HILLSIDE DISTRICT

902 N. Third St.: A 48-year-old Burbank High School teacher said a

17-year-old student threatened to hurt her Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. The

student allegedly walked into the teacher’s classroom and refused to

leave when she asked him to. He allegedly took a fighting stance and

threatened the teacher. The student was sent home but was not arrested.

MAGNOLIA PARK

1200 block of West Verdugo Avenue: A 28-year-old Burbank man was

arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance Wednesday

at 2:33 p.m. Officers had gone to the man’s house to arrest him on an

outstanding warrant for possession of narcotics when they found three

plastic bags containing cocaine in the his room, police said.

NORTHWEST DISTRICT

3400 block of West Victory Boulevard: A 33-year-old Sun Valley woman

was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run

Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The woman allegedly turned left into a car

driving in the opposite direction at Hollywood Way and Victory Boulevard.

A city worker who saw the woman drive off followed her and then detained

her until an officer arrived, police said.
