The Los Angeles Zoo is offering visitors a chance to meet four of

Santa Claus’ furry assistants today through Jan. 6. “Reindeer Romp” will

from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the zoo’s Eucalyptus Grove.

The Burbank Salvation Army is sponsoring an angel tree at Media City

Center until Dec. 24. Customers are invited to select an ornament from

the tree, purchase a gift for the child named and bring it back to the

The fourth annual holiday gift wrapping fund-raiser needs volunteers

until Christmas for 3 1/2 hour morning, afternoon and evening shifts to

wrap gifts at Barnes & Nobles, 731 N. San Fernando Blvd. All proceeds

will benefit the Burbank Public Library’s Literacy Services. To
