The Los Angeles Zoo is offering visitors a chance to meet four of
Santa Claus’ furry assistants today through Jan. 6. “Reindeer Romp” will
give children a chance to learn reindeer facts, take part in crafts and
take pictures with the animals. It is open daily, except Christmas Day,
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the zoo’s Eucalyptus Grove.
The Burbank Salvation Army is sponsoring an angel tree at Media City
Center until Dec. 24. Customers are invited to select an ornament from
the tree, purchase a gift for the child named and bring it back to the
tree at Mervyn’s Court. Gifts will be delivered in time for Christmas.

until Christmas for 3 1/2 hour morning, afternoon and evening shifts to
